Frequently Asked Questions

Agriberry is a family-run farm dedicated to being a community source for fresh berries and fruits and was founded in 2008 in Hanover, Virginia.  Agriberry is committed to sharing a passion for fruit and farming life. We do so through our young worker training program in our berry fields, and by connecting families in the community with wholesome family grown fruit.

CSA stands for community supported agriculture; also more commonly known as Farm Shares.  Not all CSA's are the same but the general idea is that at the beginning of the season, customers commit financially to a share of the year's harvest.  At Agriberry, farm shares are delivered weekly to area pickup sites.

We use as many organic practices as we can and follow Extension Service guidelines as do the other family farmers who share our commitment to sustainable growing practices.  Agriberry Farm is not a certified organic farm. Using Integrated Pest Management (IPM), we focus on sustaining a healthful and natural multi-year farm planting.  These practices help to minimize the effects of disease, insects, and compounding weather patterns.  We provide complete details about the source of any fruit we offer.  While we strive to provide the very best, most nutritious fruit available, the content, quantity, and appearance of each week's harvest will vary due to the forces of nature.  If you'd like to learn more.... please go to : learn more

During the season, you can take one week of vacation whenever you wish.  Just email us one week ahead and let us know whether you want to receive a double share the week before you leave or the week after you return. If you are in town but know you can't make your regular pick-up for a particular week, please contact me at at least three days before to make alternates arrangements. While we will do our best to accommodate you, cash refunds will not be offered for missed pickups, and unclaimed shares will be donated.
